Family Reunion Dinner

The Chinese New Year is now popularly known as the Spring Festival because it starts from the begining of spring.

When Spring Festival comes, everything comes to life and plants are prosperous. As at all traditional Chinese gatherings, food plays an important role in the Chinese New Year Festival.

On New Year's Eve, everyone gathers around the table for the "Family Reunion Dinner".No matter how far people stay away, they are eager to go home and stay together with their families on this special festival.

An increasing number of families choose to have their New Year feast in a restaurant. .We had Family Reunion Dinner with grandparents and bat bat in a restaurant on 17.2.2007. It was really meant for a family to get together after a stressful and busy year.Traditional food served on the table had special characteristics. We especially missed gu gu and her family. They were enjoying the celebration of the Chinese New Year in Sarawak.

The whole city turned into a feast of sights and sounds which maked for an unforgettable experience. Girls, the warm atmosphere was not only in the houses, but also in the streets. Happy Chinese New Year, grandmom, grandpa and bat bat.

Lydia and Priscilla, New Year's Eve is also a great time to look ahead, especially this year. Take a little time to do some thinking about the future before the stroke of midnight!
