Hello Malacca, we come again

After a long drive, we reached Malacca at 5pm on 13.9.2014. Malacca is one of the historical states that dad and mom really love. Before visited Hello Kittytown and Legoland in Johor，we dropped by Malacca to say hello. Dad and mom love heritage buildings, food, antiques and handicrafts in Malacca.

We took some funny photos after checked in. Both of you like to come up with some ideas while taking photo. "Oh, no, please don't bully me," a man shouted. Two girls and one woman bullied a man. What a pity man.

We were having our dinner at Famosa Chicken Rice Ball Restaurant. Our tummies were screaming for food after a long journey.

It is located along the Jonker Street. This restaurant has an eye-catching red.

The restaurant provides a comfortable dining experience with high ceilings and fans to ensure good ventilation.

Chicken Rice Balls are basically Hainanese Chicken served with balls of chicken rice. Rice cooked in chicken stock then rolled into balls. Chicken Rice Ball priced at RM1.20 each. Chicken Rice Balls are apparently a delicacy in Malacca. The rice itself is best taken with pounded chill sauce.If you are in Malacca, try it out.

However, dad and mom still prefer the normal bowl of chicken rice rather than chicken rice ball.

Half Steam Chicken. It costs RM 18.00.

Steam Otak-Otak. It costs RM12.00. This dish is just average. Menu display was generally attractive but the food portions are very small.

Braise Eggs. It costs RM3.00.

Towfu Soup. It costs RM8.00. It is one of our favourite home-cooked dishes.

The chicken and the rest of the food was nothing special to shout about. The bill for four people came to RM48.20.

There is also a picture gallery within the restaurant for one to reminisce the historical of Malacca. A traditional Chinese restaurant atmosphere.

Traditional Chinese wedding decoration was displayed on upstairs of the restaurant. Do you love our floral look? Girls, in the Chinese culture, at age 12 girls were no longer allowed to go to school.They were kept out of sight at home and taught how to manage household.

Dad and mom love the interior design of the restaurant. Entering the restaurant was like stepping back to China's Ming Dynasty .

After dinner, we took a stroll at Jonker Walk. The best possible way to enjoy visiting Jonker Street would be to walk around. We enjoyed the unique night scenery here. Girls, mom would like to thank God for sending dad into my life. He is a wonderful daddy and husband. Girls, every day we stay together is a blessing.

Girls, let's say good night to Malacca. After one night stay in Malacca, we continued our journey to Johor.

A Pleasant Tea Time at Clock Cafe

We decided to have tea time at Clock Cafe with po po on 24.8.2014. It was a lovely place to have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake .

An extensive collection of antique clocks are part of the restaurant interior.

Making fancy coffee in various styles by using espresso, milk and chocolate topping is fun. Coffee foam art adds comfort to an already dreamy and friendly drink. Do you like this coffee foam art? Dad and mom love it very much.

Their business hour is from 10am-12am. This newly opened cafe in Seberang Jaya certainly brightened your mood with their unique design.

Dear girls, clock reminds us the value of time. Time is a resource and we should not waste the time God has given us. We must live our life in a way that pleases God.

The clock is ticking. It is time to enjoy your meals.

A friendly staff was demonstrating their coffee art skills. You can customize the design using stencils with a pattern, letter or number. Choose fun stencils that will fit on the top of our coffee.

It was good experience to learn how to use chocolate powder in coffee art. A good art always brings a smile to our face.

The staff really put some efforts on decorating the plate. Thumbs up.

In House Special Sandwich. It costs RM7.90.

Mom love to make toasted tuna sandwich at home. This warm toasted sandwich is a mix of warm melted butter, onion and garlic. Salt and pepper the tuna salad to your desired taste. Girls, onion and garlic make for good additions to tuna salad.

BBQ Chicken Chop. It costs RM11.90.

Cheezy Wedges. It costs RM4.90.

Signature Fried Rice. It costs RM6.90.

Clocks Chocolate Mousse Cake. It costs RM10.90.

Is it a cake or is it a clock? It is a cake. Always be on time with this tea and cakes design clock.

Dear Lydia and Priscilla, family tea time is not about the food. It is about sitting down to relax together.

Warm dinner at De Fresh @ Sandwich

We had our dinner at De Fresh @ Sandwich on 21.8.2014. It was an excellent meal with excellent service. De Fresh @ Sandwich located at 1-1-42, Ideal Avenue, Medan Kampong Relau 1 Bayan Lepas 11900 Penang. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Wow, this sandwich is so big that we hardly get our mouth open wide enough to bite into it.

Mushroom sandwich set. It costs RM7.90. If you are a mushroom lover, you are going to love this one for sure.

Spicy Chicken Rice Set. It costs RM10.90. The sauce added extra flavor to the chicken.

Lemon Chicken Rice Set. It costs RM10.90. The rice was the perfect compliment with lemon flavor.

Chicken Carbonara Set. Pasta Carbonara is one of dad and mom's favorite pasta. Pasta Carbonara is an Italian way to prepare pasta. Believe me, it is very delicious, flavorful and creamy.

This set rice comes with a drink and a dessert-Red Bean Soup.

Red Bean Soup. A warming and refreshing Chinese dessert. 

Girls, snap a fun photo to preserve the memory for later. Sometimes, the best memories are made not in pictures, but in our heart.

With a large variety to choose from, De Fresh @ Sandwich always delivers on taste. 

We bought some other treats of cakes to bring home. Tiramisu.Tiramisu is a classic Italian masterpiece. An Italian dessert, translates to "pick-me-up,".This treat truly lives up to its name. It costs RM6.90.

Passion Fruit Cheese Cake. It costs RM6.90.

Cheese Cake. It costs RM6.90. Dad is a good cheesecake maker. It is our family's standard no-bake cheese cake with a crispy bottom and a fluffy cheesecake layer.

Apple Pie. It costs RM6.90. 

Mom loves to bake apple pie. Old fashioned apple pie recipe produces a crisp pastry crust and juicy apple. Girls, apple pie is fun to make. After you have finished the pie crust, the filling is easy. Learning to cook and to bake is a delicious endeavor that can save your health and your wallet.

Chocolate Banana Cake. It costs RM6.90. Who does not fancy a good piece of chocolate banana cake ?  It is such a chocolaty, bitter, sweet delight that no one can have just one. 

Parola Roll. A nice tasty treat. Fruit rolls are fun to eat. It costs RM5.90.

Chocolate Brownie with walnut. It costs RM8.90.

Dinner no happy endings without food and chit chat. It was a leisurely dinner with much chit-chat and laughter. Girls, thank you for the love you gave and the way you cared. We treasure the times we had together. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family.
