A Pleasant Tea Time at Clock Cafe

We decided to have tea time at Clock Cafe with po po on 24.8.2014. It was a lovely place to have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake .

An extensive collection of antique clocks are part of the restaurant interior.

Making fancy coffee in various styles by using espresso, milk and chocolate topping is fun. Coffee foam art adds comfort to an already dreamy and friendly drink. Do you like this coffee foam art? Dad and mom love it very much.

Their business hour is from 10am-12am. This newly opened cafe in Seberang Jaya certainly brightened your mood with their unique design.

Dear girls, clock reminds us the value of time. Time is a resource and we should not waste the time God has given us. We must live our life in a way that pleases God.

The clock is ticking. It is time to enjoy your meals.

A friendly staff was demonstrating their coffee art skills. You can customize the design using stencils with a pattern, letter or number. Choose fun stencils that will fit on the top of our coffee.

It was good experience to learn how to use chocolate powder in coffee art. A good art always brings a smile to our face.

The staff really put some efforts on decorating the plate. Thumbs up.

Mom love to make toasted tuna sandwich at home. This warm toasted sandwich is a mix of warm melted butter, onion and garlic. Salt and pepper the tuna salad to your desired taste. Girls, onion and garlic make for good additions to tuna salad.

BBQ Chicken Chop. It costs RM11.90.

Cheezy Wedges. It costs RM4.90.

Signature Fried Rice. It costs RM6.90.

Clocks Chocolate Mousse Cake. It costs RM10.90.

Warm dinner at De Fresh @ Sandwich

We had our dinner at De Fresh @ Sandwich on 21.8.2014. It was an excellent meal with excellent service. De Fresh @ Sandwich located at 1-1-42, Ideal Avenue, Medan Kampong Relau 1 Bayan Lepas 11900 Penang. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Wow, this sandwich is so big that we hardly get our mouth open wide enough to bite into it.

Mushroom sandwich set. It costs RM7.90. If you are a mushroom lover, you are going to love this one for sure.

Spicy Chicken Rice Set. It costs RM10.90. The sauce added extra flavor to the chicken.

Lemon Chicken Rice Set. It costs RM10.90. The rice was the perfect compliment with lemon flavor.

Chicken Carbonara Set. Pasta Carbonara is one of dad and mom's favorite pasta. Pasta Carbonara is an Italian way to prepare pasta. Believe me, it is very delicious, flavorful and creamy.

This set rice comes with a drink and a dessert-Red Bean Soup.

Red Bean Soup. A warming and refreshing Chinese dessert. 

Girls, snap a fun photo to preserve the memory for later. Sometimes, the best memories are made not in pictures, but in our heart.

With a large variety to choose from, De Fresh @ Sandwich always delivers on taste. 

We bought some other treats of cakes to bring home. Tiramisu.Tiramisu is a classic Italian masterpiece. An Italian dessert, translates to "pick-me-up,".This treat truly lives up to its name. It costs RM6.90.

Passion Fruit Cheese Cake. It costs RM6.90.

Cheese Cake. It costs RM6.90. Dad is a good cheesecake maker. It is our family's standard no-bake cheese cake with a crispy bottom and a fluffy cheesecake layer.

Apple Pie. It costs RM6.90. 

Mom loves to bake apple pie. Old fashioned apple pie recipe produces a crisp pastry crust and juicy apple. Girls, apple pie is fun to make. After you have finished the pie crust, the filling is easy. Learning to cook and to bake is a delicious endeavor that can save your health and your wallet.

Chocolate Banana Cake. It costs RM6.90. Who does not fancy a good piece of chocolate banana cake ?  It is such a chocolaty, bitter, sweet delight that no one can have just one. 

Parola Roll. A nice tasty treat. Fruit rolls are fun to eat. It costs RM5.90.

Chocolate Brownie with walnut. It costs RM8.90.

Dinner no happy endings without food and chit chat. It was a leisurely dinner with much chit-chat and laughter. Girls, thank you for the love you gave and the way you cared. We treasure the times we had together. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Special Days at Kaffa Cafe

Special Day One on 9.5.2014

Mother’s Day is a day for many people to show their appreciation towards mothers. Mother's Day is celebrated on different dates in different countries. We celebrated Mother's Day on 9.5.2014 at Kaffa Cafe.

Kaffa Cafe is located at 72 & 74, China Street 10200 Penang. It was a good dining experience with a three-course western meal with drinks at Kaffa Cafe. The set dinner comes with a glass of drink, soup of the day, main meal and dessert.

Kaffa Kafe stands apart at the place of China Street. It serves a wide range of western or international cuisines. It has another outlet in Strait Quay.

The American style food is average here. It operates from Monday -Thursday from 8am-10pm; Friday-Sunday 8am-11pm.

We ordered the set meal for 6 people. The price was reasonable.

Soup Of The Day. The mushroom sauce was thick with lots of small slices of mushroom and toasted cubes.

Grilled Chicken Breast With Creamy Turmeric Sauce. The chicken was well cooked and the meat was tender and juicy. The portion served was reasonable.

Italian Deep Fried Chicken With Cheese. Italian dressing is an incredibly simple marinade for chicken.

Fried Salmon Goujons With Tartar Sauce.

Fish and Chips with Tartar Sauce.

Grilled Chicken Chop with Bolognese Pasta.

Iced Lemon Tea and Peach Tea.

Hot Honey Lemon.

Hot Milk Tea.

What a beautiful time we had together. Girls, to wait for God's timing is not a waste but a blessing. All things are beautiful in God's time.

Special Day Two on 14.2.2014

For dad and mom, we do not worry much about Valentine's Day. The truth is we should  celebrate it everyday. Valentine's Day is getting very commercial nowadays. Girls, it is not a day about the gifts. A real happy meal is one that tastes great and makes you feel even better. Dad and mom glad that we could have dinner with both of you on 14.2.2014.

Dad and mom will celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary this year. Girls, we grew even more in love as the years went by. A husband and wife should give priority to God in their lives and make Him the foundation of their marriage. God has given us His Word: "A man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife. ... So they are no longer two, but one" (Mark 10:7-8).

Marriage requires two people who desire to walk the same in life. The secret of a happy marriage is to serve God and each other. Dad and mom are so blessed to have a happy marriage.

Priscilla, you are growing up and taller than mom. Dad and mom really hope that both of you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior.

Lydia, you are sweet sixteen now. A sweet sixteen is a celebration of maturity; a transition into adulthood. You need to cherish what you have. Thank God for allowing you to experience many joys of life.

We never forget to crave for Western food here as we love the Western meals here.

Tangy Pepper Lamb. Grilled lamb which served with black pepper sauce.

Chicken Polonaise. Grilled chicken served with polonaise sauce.

Smoky Teriyaki Salmon Goujon. Deep fried salmon served with smoked teriyaki sauce.

Grilled Tomeme chicken. Chicken breast meat served with cream Tomeme sauce. The grilled chicken was juicy inside and well cooked.

Soup of the day. Served with bread croutons.

Hot Teh Misai Kucing. It is a tea made solely from the misai kucing herb which has been known for its therapeutic value for generations.

Peach Tea.

Ending with dessert, we felt satisfied.

Girls, we had a wonderful evening with great food, good conversation and a lot of laughs.
